It can read the trade for you
Typing eight items into a calculator while the other player is spamming Accept is not a plan. TradeLens sits on top of the game, reads the trade window itself, and writes the same four lines straight onto your screen.
How to read a trade
How do I know if an MM2 trade is good?
Start with value, but do not stop there. A side can be worth more on paper and still be the worse half: if its items have low demand or falling prices, you will be stuck holding them. Value tells you what the trade is worth today, demand tells you how fast you can move it again, and the trend tells you which way it is heading.
Which value list should I use?
Supreme Values is the one most MM2 traders quote, so it is the default here. MM2 Values and BloxSwaps are in the picker because some servers trade off those instead. The honest answer is to use the list your trading partner uses — arguing about whose list is right never closed a trade.
What does demand actually mean?
Roughly 1 to 10, how badly other players want it. A 10k item at demand 2 can sit in your inventory for weeks. A 3k item at demand 9 trades itself. That is why demand gets its own line instead of being folded into the value.
Is this calculator free?
Yes. No account, no sign-up, nothing to install. It works on a phone too.
Where do the prices come from?
From the public value lists, pulled automatically and refreshed regularly. We do not set a single price ourselves, and the date of the last pull is written at the top of the page so you always know how fresh it is. See the full MM2 value list.
